Accounting Assistant (42294)

Our client is an organization in the Jefferson County area looking for an Accounting Assistant . This company is looking for someone with 2+ years of relevant experience, strong customer service skills and ability to multi-task.

The salary range for this position is $25-30/hr.

The Accounting Assistant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide support for the accounts receivable, accounts payable and payroll functions.
  • Prepare and execute invoicing functions.
  • Receive, process and reconcile statements.
  • Prepare and make bank deposits.
  • Submit payroll data in a timely manner to payroll processing company.
  • Administrative task such as filing, copying, document storage, creation of spreadsheets, inventories, etc.
  • Provide support for project documentation.
  • Ad hoc projects and duties as needed.

The Accounting Assistant will possess the following:

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Associate’s degree in accounting or closely related
  • 2+ years of AR & AP processing experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Well organized and detail oriented.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
