This particular role (associate Underwriter) would work in a very fast growing insurance unit focusing on property, liability, counseling, directors & officers, and commercial auto. They are looking for knowledgeable professionals with a background in Underwriting who is looking to develop their career in the underwriting field. The Associate Underwriter must have excellent interpersonal communication skills, be a decisive and organized person who can represent the program professionally and be comfortable in a fast-paced environment. This includes evaluating and managing submissions, setting up files and procuring proper documentation, communicating with producers and underwriters, assuring accurate entry of data into the program’s systems and working with others to help timely rate and prepare quotes.
