Position Overview:

InnoActive Group are leaders in providing project management and technology advisory primarily in public agencies and Fortune 500 entities. InnoActive Group has managed various construction and technology projects ranging in size from small projects to multi-billion-dollar capital programs.

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Intelligence Analyst to join our data intelligence team. In this client-facing role, you’ll leverage your expertise in Power BI and Power Apps to analyze data, develop insightful visualizations, and help clients make strategic business decisions. You will work closely with clients to understand their data challenges, interpret their needs, and deliver impactful BI solutions that empower them to take action.

Key Responsibilities:

• Client-Facing Collaboration: Work directly with clients to understand their business challenges and translate these into data-driven solutions. Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Data Analysis & Visualization: Use Power BI to analyze large datasets and create interactive, visually engaging dashboards and reports that provide clear business insights.
• Power Apps Development: Build and customize Power Apps solutions to streamline client operations and automate business processes, enhancing overall efficiency.
• Strategic Insights: Translate data into actionable insights that drive decision-making. Provide strategic recommendations based on data analysis and visual storytelling.
• Project Management: Lead BI projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on project goals.
• Training & Support: Provide training and guidance to clients on how to effectively use Power BI dashboards and Power Apps solutions. Offer ongoing support and troubleshooting as needed.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest BI tools and techniques. Constantly evaluate and improve existing BI solutions to ensure maximum impact.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role, preferably in a consulting environment.
• Expertise in Power BI (data modeling, report creation, dashboard design, and visualization best practices).
• Experience working with clients in the construction, utilities, or public sector industries is highly desirable.
• Hands-on experience with Power Apps to design custom applications that streamline business processes and improve client operations.
• Strong ability to turn raw data into clear, actionable insights through compelling visualizations and reports.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex data concepts in a simple, easy-to-understand way for clients at all levels.
• Solid understanding of data structures, databases, and ETL processes.
• Experience with SQL and/or other querying languages for data extraction.
