Job Description

Join a leading Copper casting company in South Carolina, known for producing over 1200 unique parts through an innovative casting process. We are seeking an experienced Machine Shop Supervisor to manage a team of 15-20 employees, ensuring efficient scheduling and collaboration with engineering and upper management.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee a team of 15-20 employees.
• Schedule jobs on the production floor and collaborate with engineering and upper management.
• Apply knowledge of machine shop procedures, machine tool setup, operating techniques, and production methods.
• Create, test, and run programs for CNC and Router.
• Set up, run, and operate programs on CNC machines for complex parts.
• Manually inspect parts using tools such as micrometers, thread gauges, and indicators.
• Perform machine preventative maintenance.
• Improve machine shop operations and fabrication processes.

Essential Skills

• 8+ years of experience with CNC Machinery.
• Proficiency in Haas (G or M-Code) and Mazatrol (Conversational) programming.
• Ability to program from scratch (preferred but not required).
• Experience managing at least 10 employees.
• Knowledge of programming, machining, supervision, and use of Mastercam.

This is a Permanent position based out of Abbeville, SC.

The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
