POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Commercial real estate marketing assistant needed for boutique commercial real estate firm.
Job activities include:
· Property and ownership research (Internet and County/Tax Databases)
· Contact database entry/management (Excel)
· Posting available properties online (Loopnet, Costar)
· Creating marketing flyers for properties (Microsoft Publisher, Adobe, InDesign or similar program)
· Internet research
· Mapping and plotting
· Create proposals for prospective clients
· Place phone calls to various real estate firms and property owners
· Generate reports to display sales activity
· Social media posts
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Necessary requirements & skills.
· Must have a semi-flexible daily schedule to be able to talk and/or email multiple times during the day and/or week when needed (typically on a minimal basis unless there is a pending project)
· Proficient in business software programs including: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher
· Superb attention to detail
· Excellent grammatical, spelling, oral, proofreading and writing skills
· Ability to write marketing propaganda for targeted audiences, marketing materials, detailed descriptions on properties, various cities/towns, etc.
· Ability to express clearly and effectively in writing and on the telephone; Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Willingness to solve problems and to seek out answers with creative, out-of-the-box solutions
· Must be able to multi-task and work effectively within time constraints and hard deadlines
· Must have superior phone skills (conversational communication and people skills to achieve objective of each call)
· Willingness to learn new technologies as they become available, to self-teach and use technology support services for various programs as needed
· Excellent clerical and administrative skills, including accurate and proficient keyboarding skills
· Ability to gather, analyze and present information
· Must have excellent sequential writing skills
· Unquestionable integrity and ethics and ability to maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive and confidential information
· Dependable and a believer in the accountability of one's own performance
· A self-starter who can work independently, able to maintain progress on long-term tasks without direct supervision
· Ability to prioritize and organize many tasks from various parties & complete on time
· Excellent time management skills
· Real estate experience is a plus, but not required
· Valid driver's license and vehicle required
This position is IN OFFICE POSITION. NOT HYBRID OR REMOTE.
