• Position: Cook – Food & Nutrition Services
• Location: Bronxville, NY
• Duration: 8 Weeks
• Schedule: 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts
• Total Hours: 40 hours per week

Possible Shift Times

• Between 5:00 AM and 7:00 PM (as needed)

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines.
• Assist in preparing patient meals and short-order items as required.
• Ensure all food preparation complies with health, safety, and sanitation standards .
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment.
• Follow hospital policies and food service regulations.
• Support food service operations to ensure timely meal delivery to patients and staff.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of training from an accredited cooking or catering school
• ServSafe Certification (Required)
• Previous experience in:
• Culinary or professional kitchen environments
• Food handling and preparation
• Short-order cooking
• Patient meal preparation (preferred)
