Job Description

Position: Credentialing Specialist

Location: Addison, TX (Onsite)

Pay Range: $23.00 – $26.50 per hour

Schedule: Monday – Friday, Full-Time

Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Employment Type: Contract (Minimum 90 days, strong potential for conversion)

Position Overview:

A rapidly growing healthcare organization is seeking Credentialing Specialists to support provider enrollment and credentialing operations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring providers are properly credentialed, compliant, and able to deliver care without delays.

This is a fully onsite position based in Addison, TX.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage provider credentialing and enrollment processes
  • Maintain and audit provider records for accuracy and compliance
  • Submit and track enrollment and revalidation applications
  • Conduct follow-up with insurance payors to ensure timely processing
  • Support provider onboarding by coordinating with internal teams
  • Assist with out-of-state Medicaid enrollments
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and regulatory requirements
  • Manage provider contracting and maintain up-to-date documentation
  • Respond to provider inquiries and resolve credentialing issues
  • Partner with revenue cycle, clinical, and administrative teams

Required Qualifications:

  • 1–3+ years of credentialing, provider enrollment, or related experience
  • Experience in a healthcare or behavioral health setting preferred
  • Familiarity with EMR systems and billing platforms
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems
  • Background in behavioral health or provider credentialing
  • Experience working with payer portals and enrollment systems

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to take initiative and problem-solve independently
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong follow-up skills
