The Role

Now Hiring: EVS Housekeepers (Environmental Services) High-Volume Trauma Hospital | Los Angeles Area. 

2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM Pay: $24.75/hour Schedule: Must be available to work weekends and holidays

Are you ready to make a real impact where it matters most? Join our fast-paced Environmental Services team at one of Los Angeles’ busiest trauma hospitals. This is more than a cleaning role—it’s a frontline position in patient safety and care.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Clean and disinfect patient rooms according to hospital standards
• Maintain strict infection control procedures
• Support a safe, sanitary environment for patients, staff, and visitors
• Work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced setting
• Demonstrate a complete knowledge of infection control, isolation procedures and proper operation of cleaning equipment while sanitizing patient, operating, Inpatient Tower or emergency room. 
• Perform terminal cleanings to include but not limited to, Covid, Monkey Pox, TB, lice, maggots, mites, worms, or bodily fluids
• Perform pressure washing in outpatient departments and/or operating rooms
• Other jobs and duties as identified or assigned as needed. 

What It Takes To Be Successful

• Must be fluent in English language
• 1+ years of custodial experience a plus
• 1 + year experience working in emergency rooms, operating rooms, etc.
• Ability to handle under pressure emergencies
• Knowledgeable in disposal of biohazard waste/material
• Prior experience cleaning in healthcare facilities preferred

Compensation details: 24.75-24.75 Hourly Wage
