Aerotek's client is looking for Heavy Equipment Operators to join their team in the Waldorf, MD area

Job Description

  • We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator with experience in operating excavators, backhoes, and dozers, particularly for installing water, sewer, and storm pipes. This position focuses on handling all wet utilities and requires proficiency with front-end loaders, rollers, and backfilling.

Responsibilities

  • Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, backhoes, and dozers to install water, sewer, and storm pipes.
  • Manage the installation of all wet utilities efficiently and safely.
  • Utilize front-end loaders, rollers, and perform backfilling tasks as required.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during operations.

Essential Skills

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience operating excavators, backhoes, and dozers.
  • Proficiency in installing water, sewer, and storm pipes.
  • Ability to handle front-end loaders and rollers effectively.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Any additional operating experience is a plus.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.
