Travel Pharmacist – Inpatient Hospital

Location: Northern Arizona

Assignment Length: 8 weeks (with strong possibility of extension)

We are seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist for an 8-week travel assignment at a hospital in beautiful Northern Arizona. This opportunity offers a mix of central pharmacy staffing and decentralized clinical coverage on Med-Surg and Telemetry units.

Position Details:

Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (extension possible)

Schedule: Days, Eves, rotating weekends

Shift Structure: 4x10s

Responsibilities:

• Staff the central inpatient pharmacy, including order verification and medication dispensing
• Provide decentralized pharmacist coverage on Med-Surg and Telemetry units
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams to ensure safe and effective medication use
• Comply with hospital policies, state regulations, and accreditation standards

Qualifications:

• Active Pharmacist license (Arizona license preferred or ability to obtain)
• Prior inpatient hospital pharmacy experience required
• Experience with Med-Surg and/or Telemetry units strongly preferred
• Ability to work variable shifts and adapt to a fast-paced hospital environment
