Job summary: Industrial/Mechanical Designer (mechanical-focused, hybrid drafting–engineering role) to replace a departing team lead.

Key points:

• Primary duties: 3D CAD design (Fusion 360 + AutoCAD), produce detailed fabrication drawings, arrange piping/pumps on skids, source/evaluate vendor components, interface with customers and vendors, support assembly team, occasional trade-show travel.
• Supervisory: Team lead over two other designer/drafters (coordinate, review progress, mentor).
• Experience/skills: Strong mechanical design background (pipes/pumps), proficiency in Fusion 360 (3D CAD essential), solid drafting skills, good verbal/customer-facing communication ("soft skills"). Prefer ~10+ years experience but openness to highly capable candidates.
• Location: On-site in Aztec (remote work not practical due to shop interaction).
• Urgency/timeline: Replacement needed—current employee resigns, leaving end of April; role critical to avoid production slowdowns.
• Other considerations: Relocation assistance limited/uncertain;
