Position Overview:
We are seeking a Board-Certified Hematology/Oncology Physician to join a busy outpatient setting. This assignment offers the potential for ongoing coverage until a permanent provider is secured.
Assignment Details:
• Start Date: April 6, 2026
• Duration: Ongoing (until permanent hire)
• Schedule: 3 full days per week
• Setting: 100% Outpatient
• EMR: EPIC
Compensation & Coverage:
• Competitive daily rate (please inquire for details)
• Travel and lodging provided
• Malpractice coverage included
Practice Environment:
• Collaborative team with 1 MD and 1 NP onsite
• Strong support staff including nursing and administrative personnel
Patient Volume & Case Mix:
• 12–15 patients per day (varies by case mix)
• Approximately 80% Oncology / 20% Hematology
• Hematology cases include both benign and malignant conditions
Procedures:
• Bone marrow procedures are a plus (typically handled by Interventional Radiology)
Requirements:
• Active New York medical license
• Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology
• Current immunization records (flu vaccine or signed declination)
• Negative TB or QuantiFERON Gold test within 1 year of start
• Please note: Credentialing timeframe is approximately 120 days (urgent need flagged)
