Aerotek is hiring Reach Truck Operators In Clifton, New Jersey!

Pay - $22/hr

Location: Clifton, New Jersey

Position Overview:

Seeking an experienced Reach Truck Operator to work in a deep‑freeze warehouse (20°F to -15°F). Responsibilities include operating stand‑up reach trucks, cab forklifts, and pallet jacks to move, stage, and organize pallets while following strict safety and food‑handling standards. This is a temp‑to‑perm role with full‑time hours. Freezer experience required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate stand‑up reach trucks, cab forklifts, and electric pallet jacks in a deep‑freeze environment

• Move, stage, and organize pallets efficiently

• Follow all safety, food‑handling, and OSHA protocols

• Maintain inventory flow and warehouse organization

• Overnight shift: 11 PM–7 AM, Sunday–Thursday / 3 PM-11 PM

Essential Skills:

• Certified reach truck, pallet jack, and forklift operator

• Ability to maneuver in tight aisles and high‑rack environments

• Comfortable working overnight in extreme cold

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience with bakery/production equipment (mixers, ovens, proofers, slicers, packaging lines)

• Familiarity with automated packaging machinery

• Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills

• Proficiency with scanners, digital scales, and inventory systems

• Experience with pallet jacks, conveyors, and warehouse equipment

Work Environment: Freezer environment using stand‑up reach trucks (Crown MR16A), cab forklifts, and electric pallet jacks. Facility includes push‑back racking, tight aisles, and high‑rack storage requiring precision and strong equipment‑handling skills

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clifton, NJ.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
