Pharmacist
Location: 3355 Breckinridge Blvd, Ste 120, Duluth, GA 30096-4989
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week (8 hours/day)
Shifts: Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm or 12:30pm–8:00pm (based on business needs; overtime may occur; closing shift time may vary)
Weekly Pay Package
Weekly Tax Free Stipend to be paid $1,243.34
Weekly Straight Pay (Taxable) $1,760.00
Weekly Gross $3,003.34
Responsibilities
• Accept and dispense prescription medications in compliance with legal standards.
• Monitor patient medication compliance and identify over-usage patterns.
• Ensure prescribed medicines are suitable and safe for patients.
• Maintain accurate, confidential patient records and pharmacy files.
• Advise patients on medication usage, side effects, interactions, and storage.
• Provide consultation on prescription and non-prescription medications.
• Compound medications for internal and external use; prepare sterile solutions.
• Supervise pharmacy staff (technicians, clerks, etc.) and ensure competency.
• Maintain inventory of pharmaceutical and medical supplies.
• Identify drug-related problems and collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers.
• Monitor and clean sterile compounding areas.
• Ensure compliance with USP 797 and USP 800 standards.
• Oversee staff training, garbing, testing, and adherence to compounding procedures.
Qualifications
• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree required.
• Active license from the State Pharmacy Board.
