Project Engineer – Data Center Construction

Childress, Texas

I’m partnered with a very well-respected ENR-ranked General Contractor that specializes in delivering complex, mission-critical projects across the U.S. Due to ongoing growth and a strong project pipeline, they are looking to bring on a Project Engineer to support a data center project based in Childress, Texas.

The Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Engineer to gain hands-on experience on a large-scale, technically complex data center build. You’ll work closely with the Project Manager and Superintendent, playing a key role in ensuring the project runs smoothly from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support day-to-day project operations on-site
• Manage RFIs, submittals, and project documentation
• Assist with scheduling, cost tracking, and procurement
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams
• Ensure work is aligned with project plans, specifications, and quality standards
• Help maintain a safe and efficient job site

What They’re Looking For:

• Experience as a Project Engineer within commercial or industrial construction
• Exposure to mission-critical or data center projects is highly desirable
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, site-based environment
• Willingness to be based in Childress, TX for the duration of the project
