GAIA Miami is seeking a passionate and experienced Sommelier to join our team and elevate our guest experience through exceptional wine service and storytelling.
Located in the heart of Miami, GAIA is a refined Mediterranean dining destination known for its vibrant atmosphere, seasonal cuisine, and thoughtfully curated wine program.
What You’ll Do:
– Curate and maintain an innovative, globally inspired wine list
– Provide expert recommendations tailored to each guest’s preferences
– Lead wine service with confidence, precision, and warmth
– Collaborate with our culinary team on pairings and menu development
– Train and mentor front-of-house staff on wine knowledge and service standards
What We’re Looking For:
– Proven experience as a Sommelier in a fine dining or upscale environment
– Strong knowledge of Old World and New World wines
– Certification (CMS, WSET, or equivalent) preferred
– A natural storyteller with a guest-first mindset
– Passion for hospitality, detail, and continuous learning
