Key Responsibilities of the Travel IR Nurse:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care in an Interventional Radiology setting.
• Prepare and assist with IR procedures, monitoring patients throughout interventions.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and post-procedure care as prescribed.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and implement individualized care plans.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, radiologists, and the multidisciplinary team.
• Educate patients and families on procedures, treatment plans, and recovery instructions.
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in compliance with hospital standards.

Requirements of the Travel IR Nurse:

• Valid New York Registered Nurse (RN) license or compact license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Interventional Radiology, cath lab, or procedural nursing.
