Chipton-Ross is seeking an Accounting Assistant 3 for a contract/hybrid opportunity in Irving, TX.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 4 years of related experience
• SAP and/or Costpoint experience
• Accounts payable customer service experience
• Intermediate skills in Excel and thorough knowledge of other Microsoft applications including Word and Outlook
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail and accounting orientation, and the ability to multi-task and manage time

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

The selected individual will report to the manager of Accounts Payable PO Processing and will utilize SAP S/4 HANA and/or Costpoint, Open Text, Vendor Invoice Management system, Outlook, Excel other accounting tools, to support Accounts Payable functions in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles, company policies and procedures, disclosure statements, and government regulations.

• Processing PO related invoices within our SAP S/4 HANA and/or Costpoint systems.
• The ability to professionally communicate related accounting policies and procedures
• The ability to multitask and work independently to meet service delivery agreements
• Ability to collaborate and have a continuous learning mindset
• Support month-end requirements
• Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills to help resolve invoice posting issues
• Ability to perform other duties as assigned

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

• Knowledge of GAAP; CAS; FAR as well as Corporate Accounting Policies and procedures
• Experience with OpenText Vendor Invoice Management
• SAP S/4 HANA experience
• Advanced Excel skills

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

High school diploma or equivalent is required. School must be accredited.

WORK HOURS:

9/80 workweek. This role is a hybrid position, candidate must be on site at our Irving, TX location 2 days/week. HYB
