C2’s client, a global leader in workforce innovation and one of the world’s most ethical and inclusive employers, seeks a Project Manager to play a critical role in building structure within a newly evolving governance environment. Rather than stepping into a fully established system, this individual will help shape how work gets done by introducing clarity, consistency, and scalable processes across teams.
The role sits at the intersection of multiple functions and will require close collaboration with a governance board composed of senior leaders across Marketing, Procurement, Technology, and Digital. Success in this position will depend on the ability to translate broad objectives into practical frameworks, facilitate alignment among diverse stakeholders, and bring momentum to initiatives that are still taking shape.
This is an opportunity for someone who thrives in ambiguity and enjoys building from the ground up—creating not just deliverables, but sustainable ways of working that will have lasting impact beyond the duration of the engagement.
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Contract (8–12 weeks, with potential extension)
Location: Hybrid in Milwaukee, WI (Tuesday–Thursday onsite; flexibility available)
Compensation: Commensurate with experience
Benefits: All C2 talent working 30+ hours/week for 30 days are eligible for medical, dental, optional vision, life insurance, 401(k) with match, and PTO accrual
Technology: Talent must provide their own hardware and software
Job Description
The ideal Project Manager is someone who is both structured and adaptable, able to bring order to undefined spaces while remaining flexible as priorities evolve. They are comfortable stepping into environments where not everything is fully formed and can quickly assess what is needed, propose a path forward, and execute with confidence.
They are a strong communicator who knows how to tailor messaging based on their audience, whether facilitating working sessions or engaging with senior executives. Confidence and presence are important, as this role involves interacting with high level stakeholders and contributing to strategic discussions.
This person is naturally proactive and takes ownership of outcomes, not just tasks. They are thoughtful in how they build processes, balancing thoroughness with practicality, and understand how to create frameworks that are both effective and easy for others to adopt.
Above all, they bring a collaborative mindset, sound judgment, and the ability to move initiatives forward without the need for heavy oversight.
